Parsley

It rained like crazy all day...but it stopped just long enough for us to visit. We walked through a beautiful ravine and chatted. They told me how he loved her from afar for years before he had the courage to ask her out. And, shortly after they started dating, he left her a bouquet of parsley as a present(you have to hear the story, but if you ask him--she'll make sure he tells it right). And, then we sat in a space that was once her parent's studio and they read such beautiful letters to each other. I marvel at how the world brought them together. I think they are just what each other needs. Truly. What a lovely evening it was :)

"I would much rather be doing nothing at all with you, than something with anybody else" she said.

Can't wait for their wedding!

Sunset Engagement Session

This lovely couple didn't bat an eye when I told them that their engagement session would happen as the sun set and finish in the dark. They said...sounds cool ;) Then they told me about this awesome car that their family friend had and could we use it? Well...YES, we could ;) So, we drank wine, danced in the headlights and lit sparklers in crazy winds(this is much more difficult than one might imagine). And, we created this set of images...something a little different for me.

And, oh yes...this couple has created the most beautiful baby boy together. Before the engagement session we took a few family images which I'll share in a separate post...but, here's a sneak peek until then:

I cannot wait until their wedding in October! It's sure to be a beautiful event :)

Sparks Flew

Just cause this makes my heart sing in so many ways...

Blogstalkers will recognize this couple. This is their third session with me. First, we did their maternity session. Then, we did their newborn session...and last night, we did their engagement session. I absolutely cannot wait to be there on their wedding day.

I'm so lucky that my clients trust me when I say things like 'so, we're going to shoot in the dark'...

Just one...there are so many more to share. But, I just couldn't resist this one.

Crazy Big Love

I'm crazy for these two and their crazy big love...and I'm so excited that their wedding is fast approaching because I get to be there to capture the goofiness...I'm showing this first picture so you can see her huge smile and how he is the one who puts it on her face :) But, the rest of them show how crazy in love they are... Can't wait for their wedding...because I get to meet their pet rat. True story...told you they were goofy.
