Baby's All Around
It's been awhile since I have posted an entire session... Lately, I've been booking a lot of newborn sessions. There must be a baby boom in Calgary...this one isn't in Calgary. This was a travel session--did you know that I can travel to you? Have camera will travel.
It's also the newest addition to one of my best friend's families. So, I am sure to be able to watch her grow into a lovely young woman. I cannot wait.

Hot Off The Presses
I like real life.
Often people ask me how I get my clients to act so real. This was literally the scene as I came in the door. I am lucky enough that my clients trust me enough to just keep being real even when I start taking their pictures.
Fourth picture I took...I saw this girl once when she was wee. She wore a pumpkin hat and had the cutest expression. I bet some of you remember that picture. Well...she has grown up quite a bit since then and was so lovely to visit. She even made me a sandwich. It was a bit tough to chew(made of wood), but tasty none the less.

A Girl & Her Dog
One nice thing about going back to see the same families is I know things about them...With this family, I remember when this dog had two eyes ;) I remember the email they sent me telling me that he'd lost one and how happy they were to have pictures of him from before that. I know how much this little girl loves her dogs...I know that she sings with them. And, last year, she cuddled with the smaller one...
I love this family...so like my own in some ways. Our wedding anniversaries are so close, our kids are almost exactly the same age...we KNOW each other's parenting issues ;) And, it is such a treat to visit with them once a year...
