Bolivia, 2026
Now that Bob and I are empty nesters, we wanted to find a way to travel that wasn’t just about seeing the cultural sites and museums, but also included some true cultural experiences. And, since we had never made our way to South America, we decided to try something new in our travels to that continent and hired a private guide. I wanted to be able to get access to photograph South America’s second largest carnival in Oruro.
We headed to La Paz, Oruro, Uyuni and the altiplano and Copacabana on Lake Titicaca.
